Smoothwater offers comfortable lodging, sumptuous organic cuisine, and professional outdoor recreation outfitting for canoeists, kayakers, hikers, cross country skiers and snowshoers.
Courses in art, yoga, cooking, wild edibles and various outdoor skills, including paddling and skiing are offered on-site. Guided canoe trips for women and families are scheduled throughout the summer, as are paddle/hike day trips.
Winter enthusiasts have access to a 50 km long cross country ski trail network that features two backcountry cabins for overnight stays.
